Manchester United fan falls asleep during West Brom defeat as pals stack coffee cups on his head to entertain themselves

MANCHESTER UNITED’S tepid football proved too much for one fan as he fell asleep during the West Brom defeat.

Luckily the supporter’s misery cheered up his pals who decided to pile coffee cups on his head Buckaroo-style.

They clearly had plenty of the hot beverage available – presumably in an attempt to stay awake as Jose Mourinho’s side toiled.

Jay Rodriguez scored the only goal of the game at Old Trafford as United slumped to defeat.

Their loss also handed the Premier League title to bitter rivals Manchester City in another devastating blow.

Mourinho accused his players of being “on the moon” after last week’s 3-2 win over Pep Guardiola’s side.

After the defeat, he said: “I won eight titles and I’m not on the moon because I won a match against City.

“I saw lots of people on the moon. I won too much to be happy with one big victory.
